She views everyone as doing the best they can to make life as good as possible for themselves and their loved ones. She understands that sometimes we don’t make the best choices but believes that our intentions are usually positive. We always have a reason for what we do and don’t do.

Your therapy sessions with Misty are designed to be a safe space where you are in control. Misty’s experience working with individuals with adverse and trauma histories, including those with dissociative disorders, autism, and addiction, has given her a deep understanding of the feeling of the loss of control that can go with distressing events. This understanding informs her approach to therapy, where she prioritizes providing a safe environment and giving control of the sessions to the client.
